Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Assistant to join our team. The Maintenance Assistant will be responsible for assisting in the maintenance and repair of our facilities, ensuring they are in optimal condition. Responsible for maintenance of facility and technical upkeep related to production equipment.

Responsibilities:

· Inspects and maintains production equipment and facility.

· Services or acquires service for equipment and facility.

· Controls and monitors equipment usage.

· Communicates efficiently and effectively with vendors and employees.

· May paint pipes, motors or equipment.

· May install new equipment or parts.

· May drive personal vehicle to pick up parts or supplies off site.

· Ensures proper cleanup and disposal of potentially hazardous materials spills.

Ability to operate vehicles, equipment or machinery

· Computer, printer, calculator, copier, phone, fax, scale, hand truck, utility cart, step stool, box knife, tape gun, conveyor line, power tools. Non-Essential Functions

· Assists in other areas of the plant as needed. Ability to operate vehicles, equipment or machinery

· Manual pallet jack, dock plates, computer/scan gun, shrink wrap machine, carton taping machine.

Experience, Skills, Education & Licenses/Certifications

· Demonstrated time management skills and attention to detail.

· Ability to accomplish tasks effectively and efficiently with minimal or no supervision. Recommended: · High School diploma or GED. Physical, mental and psychological demands and environmental conditions
